This video illustrates the development and treatment of apical periodontitis caused by bacterial infection in a decayed tooth. It shows how bacteria penetrate through enamel and dentin, reaching the pulp and triggering inflammation. Then the animation demonstrates the endodontic procedure: isolation of the tooth, removal of infected tissue, cleaning and disinfection of the root canal system, and final sealing with gutta-percha.
